Come party with Lee and Taryn as they say goodbye to their home of many
years - 97 Montrose Ave., AKA Fort Seriously. This place has been a
recording studio, performance space, practice space, drawing studio,
theater, broadcast studio, party house and much more while we lived
here. It deserves to go out with a bang.

This Saturday, January 28th we're having one last burlesque show, Last Call at the Starliner Lounge
starting at 9:30pm for $10. At 11:35pm, the show is over and the party
begins. So come early or late, but come, because there are no more next
times.

Bring your own booze and some to share, or buy it cheap from the bar
(proceeds go to the Big Apple Burlesque troupe). At dawn help yourself
to party favors - all of our wonderful junk that can't fit in our new
apartment.

Paper Legs, Sharks with Wings and The Alphabet from T ro Z played last
night. It was a small but large performance. The recordings are online.
If you happen to notice a strange buzzing sound, that's because two
flys decided it would be a good idea to get busy on top of the warm
condenser microphones I have hanging on the ceiling.
Damn nature, getting in the way of progress again!

There would have been twice as many recordings from tonight's show but
the police arrested me and kicked everyone out because of, in the words
of the summons I received "Discon - Unpersonable Noise". The man who
twisted my arm behind my back said his name was "leiutenant". To the
90th precinct's credit, Kevin was my arresting officer and was quite
cool. He was shocked we weren't charging admission. He wants to start
his own club and charge $10 to get in to compete with my apartment. His
club will "have police protection".

Thanks to Michael, Paula, Tianna, Dylan and everyone else who held down the fort in my absence. EV + Black Label 4 lyf!

-lee

P.S. I'll put up a photo of the summons. It's pretty amusing to
see the word Unpersonable Noise written in the offense section. I think
that is like, farting or something, right?
