Fight Indian Summer!
New mp3s online from the live shows. Apologies to 2% Majesty, who performed an acoustic set in the garden. I couldn't record your show. Next time the antenae will extend to the garden and we can enjoy those performances frozen in time. Thanks to everyone for coming. The evening was great. The dancing was greater. This is only the begining of our little fort in what will soon be the arctic tundra of Brooklyn streets. Don't worry, rain or shine there will be more events. Tell your friends and keep up with the calendar at upcoming.org.
If you have an event you need space for email lee at eds.org.

Survival Tip
Use small wads of toilet paper for earplugs if the music is too loud to enjoy painlessly. Not too small or you'll risk the chance of it getting sucked up into the vortex of your brain. Tuck the wad behind the ear cartilage (the tragus) so it doesn't look too obvious (like you have toilet paper in your ear).
First Figure Drawing Session September 4th, 2005
The first figure drawing session. We realized the lighting in the front half of the space isn't as good for light as we thought. It dissapeared at about 4PM. Fortunately the last roomate left two flood lights. Atendees were Taryn, Lee, Ronin, Daniel (get well soon), Jarvis and Erin. Here are some pictures from the session.
EV Fundraiser #1
Totimoshi, Sightings and Tianna's Daniel Carter quartet played. The inagural night with an amplified rock band. Tianna's improv was excellent, as usual. We thought the garden would be open the whole night but the slumlord showed up and began sorting through the trash and chatting on his phone. We waited and waited but he neither left nor said anything about the people milling about waiting for the band to start. Eventually I said fuck it and Todd found the band. The slumlord disappeared and Totimoshi rocked the house. The very second they finished playing our hard of hearing property owner walks outside, waves good bye and drives into the midnight. The garden was opened. Sightings played and was equally amazing. We broadcast the whole event on free 103point9 and have a recording which will be posted soon. The next event is on September 24th. Check http://www.toddpnyc.com for the info while I get the web site up and running.
